About Us B&T Music is a well established music shop based in Hastings, East Sussex, UK. We have 25 years of experience in music retail. Making A Purchase Browse through the shop categories on the left hand side of the screen and choose a cateogry to browse products. You can use the search box if you know the name of the product you're looking for. Clicking on a product name or picture will provide a brief description and a photo of the product. To add a product to your order, click `Add to Basket`. Please note that out of stock items may be missing the 'Add to Basket' button, but if you would like to be notified when this product is available again please email sales@bandtmusic.co.uk. When you have chosen everything you want click `View Cart` to check what's in your basket, or click 'Checkout' option to proceed directly to the checkout. We only ship to UK addresses.
You will receive a confirmation email to show that the transaction has been processed. You will receive an email when your order has been dispatched.

In the unlikely event of B&T Music not being able to supply your order, you will be notified by email and aB&T Music representative will try to telephone you. In this case you will be offered alternatives including a full refund. |
Shipping And Handling Most orders are shipped out on the same or following working day. When your order is shipped, we will send you a confirmation email. Orders dispatched via FastWay Courier will receive a tracking number in the email. Please understand we are not able to contractually agree delivery timescales unless by prior arrangement.
Shipping costs are calculated on the weight and size of your order. For small/low value orders, Royal Mail Recorded is a cost effective shipping method which typically takes 1-3 working days to arrive. FastWay Courier is suitable for higher value orders and large items. The cost of your order including delivery will be shown before you are directed to the payment page. To get a delivery quote, please add items to your basket and then choose your shipping destination on the Checkout screen to see delivery options available for your order.

Delivery Schedule Royal Mail packages typically take 1-3 working days to arrive. FastWay Courier delivery times vary but goods typically take 1-3 working days to arrive.
Inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please also quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. |
| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, please email us (sales@bandtmusic.co.uk) and we will inform you of when the item can be supplied. If you happen to order an item that is incorrectly marked as in stock, you will be contacted and offered alternatives including a full refund. |
| Tax Charges All product and shipping prices include 17.5% VAT. All tax exempt items are VAT free. |
| Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. |
| Guarantee Under UK law you have a 'cooling off' period (Distance Selling) where you can return your purchase for a full refund of the product value. However, the product must be unused and in the same condition as we supplied condition for us to accept the return, complete with all packaging accessories. The period lasts for 14 days from the date of delivery and note that this does not allow you to 'trial' the product, only to inspect it as you would instore. Please contact us through our service email address (sales@bandstmusic.co.uk) with your order number and we will supply a return authorisation number for you to return your order to us. Returns of non-faulty goods are not entitled to a postage refund. |

Privacy Policy B&T Music do not disclose customers' information to any third parties, with the exception of using postal information to inform our carriers of the package's destination. Your personal details are passed securely to our payment service provider (Actinic Payments) for verification purposes only. Actinic Payments will then request your card details for payment. Actinic Payments meets all current banking security standards including PCI DSS. No card information is ever stored in any form on B&T Music's website.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
