Wooden Flutes, Recorders & Pan Pipes

These pan pipes consist of a single line of pipes, in graduating sizes. Pan pipes are a very old instrument and have a variety of different names, the name 'antara' originates in from the Andes mountains in South America. Size indicates the length of the longest pipe. The word zampona is the name given to this type of double row pan pipes by the Incas. One has to be slightly more energetic whilst playing than the antara (single row pipes). Makes a great sound with practice. This item is handmade (colours, dimensions and patterns may vary).
